The first stage of Generus Living Group’s newest high-end retirement village, The Foundation, reached completion in 2024, welcoming its first permanent residents to their new home.

The master plan encompasses three interconnected buildings set within a heritage precinct, carefully integrating new structures with existing historical buildings. The second building is scheduled for completion in mid to late 2026.
Stage 1, known as the Nathan Residences, has already achieved significant recognition, including the 2024 Property Council New Zealand Excellence Award for Aged Care and Retirement Living Property.
The building comprises 46 luxury apartments, predominantly 2 to 3 bedrooms, designed to harmonise with the vibrant central city environment. The development prioritises high-quality outdoor spaces for both residents and the public, enhancing community engagement and wellbeing.
